Accessibility

STUK aims to welcome everyone, regardless of your needs, sensitivities, abilities, or language.

Accessibility of the STUK building

The STUK building is accessible for people with reduced mobility via the entrance on the Naamsestraat. The STUKcafé is also located on this level. STUK Reception and the inner courtyard can be reached via a passenger lift near the entrance.

The work in the STEK Club is wheelchair accessible with the assistance of a STUK staff member (available at the Artefact desk in STUK Reception). The works in the Ateliers are not wheelchair accessible. All other spaces and works are independently accessible.

Accessibility of the exhibition

Information accompanying the artworks in the exhibition, the regular guided tours, and the exhibition guide are available in Dutch and English. The children’s guide and some specific guided tours are available in Dutch only. In addition, tailored guided tours can be booked in French, Italian, Polish, Mandarin, and Greek.

We also offer a sensory map: an overview of the various exhibition spaces and the stimuli you will encounter. You can read or download it here.
